Exclusive: Sherlock Holmes May Have Something To Crowe About After All

El Mayimbe here…
Ok so earlier today Coming Soon broke the story that Mark Strong is in Guy Ritchie’s "Sherlock Holmes," which you can read HERE.

Latinoreview found out the role he is playing…

BLACKWOOD

Last week, director Guy Ritchie debunked that Russell Crowe was supposed to play Dr. Watson. But Guy Ritchie never said that Crowe was completely off the project...

According to my Intel, "there is a VERY good chance that Russell Crowe is going to play…"

PROFESSOR MORIARTY

Professor James Moriarty is a fictional character who is the best-known antagonist (and nemesis) of the detective Sherlock Holmes. Widely considered to be the first true example of a super villain, Moriarty is a criminal mastermind, described by Holmes as the "Napoleon of Crime" (T. S. Eliot would later use the same phrase, in homage, to describe Macavity in Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats). Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, lifted the phrase from a real Scotland Yard inspector who was referring to Adam Worth, a true-life (though non-violent) model for Moriarty.

So who is going to play WATSON?

Nobody has been cast yet. The Watson role was offered to Gerard Butler but he passed.

So there ya have it for the time being. Once I know who WATSON is, you nice folks will be the first to know.
